After a 40 year career at CFA, I am still continuing research activities in gravitational lensing, black hole (MECO) physics, and matter structuring of the universe. Early results from my career relate to the comparison of temperature and luminosity of hot early type stars and have become very popular in recent times, as these stars are recognized as progenitors of supernovae. Mid-career work was focused on the first measured time-delay of gravitationally lensed quasar images. The most recent research activities involved comparison of gravitational microlensing, brightness fluctuations with black hole models to study quasar inner structure.
