Teresa holds a Master's from the University of Minnesota (UMN) and a Bachelor's from Oklahoma State University. She was awarded a prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship to support her studies, served as the Professional Development Chair and then President of the Association of Multicultural Scientists at UMN, and has presented at astrobiology sessions and science communication panels at multiple conferences. She is fascinated by astrobiology and its adjacent fields, and she enjoys exploring cuisines and reading in her free time. Teresa welcomes the opportunity to help inform and inspire early career researchers, and is available to answer questions or schedule a quick meeting.
