The Wolbach Library focuses on both the future and legacy of astronomical research. One of the world’s preeminent astronomical libraries, the Wolbach is also home to Harvard's Astronomical Photographic Glass Plate Collection.

The Wolbach Library closed permanently on March 22, 2024. For library assistance, please email asklib@fas.harvard.edu. Project PHaEDRA will continue under the Harvard Plate Stacks and Smithsonian Transcription Center.

Access

Year-round 24-hour access to the Library is available to ID holders. Visitors can enter the building from 9-5, Mon-Fri excluding holidays.
