About

Dr. Junsung Park is a Physicist in the Atomic and Molecular Physics (AMP) Division at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian. His research interest is concentrated on trace gas retrieval. He obtained his Ph.D. from Pukyong National University, South Korea in August 2022. He continued there as a postdoctoral researcher before joining in the TEMPO group at AMP. During his Ph.D., he worked for the operational algorithm development to retrieve atmospheric nitrogen dioxide for GEMS, TEMPO's sister instrument over Asia. He joined in as a Post-doctoral research scientist to work on tropospheric ozone retrieval from TEMPO.
